Services
Assessment
Strategies
Use the best methods available to assess how well your students
are learning. EASTCONN staff consultants provide short-or
longer-term training or technical assistance to educational
organizations considering a variety of methods for assessing
student learning and the monitoring student achievement. Services
range from providing an overview of the current range of assessment
strategies to designing specific tasks for math, science and
the writing component of the language arts curriculum. Assessment
strategies can range from the informal, such as assisting
teachers to learn strategies for reflecting on student work
and the implications for improvement of teaching and learning,
to the formal, such as the "Making Standards Work"
Performance Assessment Model.
