Connecting
Curriculum and Kids: Differentiating Instruction to Increase
Student Achievement
Differentiated Instruction is not just another buzzword! It
involves strategically using what you already know about who
your students are and how they learn. In this workshop you
will learn low-prep strategies, ideas, and adaptations to
help struggling and gifted, as well as on grade level students
to meaningfully meet learning outcomes. You will learn how
to determine your students' learning profiles to create lessons
that provide all students the opportunity for successful learning.
"one-size-fits-all instruction will inevitably sag or
pinch-exactly as single size clothing would-students who differ
in need, even if they are chronologically the same age."
(Carol Ann Tomlinson, 2001)
